Sad news indeed, a top player and person.

Stupendous talent. Nobody who watched him play could not be impressed, however much everyone not Leeds hated the little bugger. I swear blind he ran between Lockers' legs more than several times.
Horrid disease MND, what he & Sinfield (& I don't hesitate to say, it should be sir Kev for real by now) have done to raise funds for research is awe inspiring.

Rest well wee man.

Very sad news

So so sad. RIP Rob Burrow, the bravest player/person I’ve known of.

Fev Lion to Leeds Rhino to rugby league icon to National Treasure.

Transcended the sport because of his ability on the field and attitude to the hand he was dealt off it.

RIP, thoughts with his wife and young family.

It’s a disgrace that Kevin Sinfield has not been properly recognised for what he has done for Rob and MND. He was never my favourite player but he is one terrific person.

RIP Rob. The world is a poorer place without you. But your memory and legacy will live on.

Even though we all knew it was inevitable at some point in the near future it was incredibly sad to discover the news that Rob had passed today. Thoughts are with family, friends and everyone connected with the Leeds club.

Rob may be now be at rest but his name and legacy will go on, both in MND research and within our great sport (future MOM awards at the Grand Final).

RIP Rob.

Surely something special will be done on Saturday?

I get the feeling that 'Abide with me' will be extra tough for everyone to get through at Wembley on Saturday.

I believe that fans at Wembley will be asked to stand and clap when we reach the 7th minute of the game, a fitting tribute to a remarkable person.
