He dropped his full weight with no control while holding onto the Cas players shoulders, I'm not sure it's a text book hip drop because he doesn't land on the players legs but I'm pretty sure it'll be looked at and could be viewed as a reckless action resulting in an injury.

With the current rules we are starting to look to categorise fair tackles as dangerous. I am willing to be that every game this weekend had tackles that were similar. Had the lad got up and played the ball nothing would have been said.

I haven't seen it on TV yet but it looked ok at the match. He's fully in control at the point of tackle with both feet on the ground but gets pulled over by the Cas player. Iirc he goes to ground front first so isn't putting his weight through the tackled player as he would with a hip drop or similar.
As I say, that's just the impression from the game so it may look different on TV but I didn't get that impression from the actual tackle which happened pretty much in front of us.

There was a video knocking around twitter but it's been deleted, there's a point in the tackle where he's swung around with both feet off the floor, he'll be very lucky to escape a ban.

Only an F?
I’d have thought they’d be pushing for a Z.

I my original post I said I didn't think it was a text book hip drop.
The RFL will want to be seen as consistent, if you leave your feet in the tackle and apply your full weight to a player in a way that could be deemed reckless and they get injured, you're going to get pinged for it.
The mitigation in Nsemba case is that be doesn't land on the lads legs so it's not a "hip drop".

I haven't seen it back (what time is it?) But there's a difference between leaving your feet because the natural momentum of a tackle going away from you pulls the defender from their feet and being in control of your movement and deciding/deliberately making a movement to jump forward and around/into the ball carrier to maximise weight drop around/onto the ball carrier
There was a tackle in the cats game last night were defender is "pulled" off their feet and they end up behind and on ball carriers legs, but defender made no play to do that and weight wasn't promoted forward by defender.

I've posted the clip there.
You are right buuuut, in the current climate, if you end up dropping your weight in a tackle and the attacker gets injured you're going to get cited, then all that will be taken into consideration, how you left your feet, how and where you landed, can it be deemed to be reckless regardless of intent.
Watching the video, IMO Junior would be very lucky not to get a ban.
