Great game, terrific showcase for the sport.

Nathan Cleary is only 25, has won 3 grand finals in a row, 3 state of origin series’ a World Cup, 2x half back of the year, 2 Clive Churchill medals.
He’s an absolute freak and is definitely a future immortal with his prime years ahead of him. Imagine how good he’ll be when he’s 30.

Just does the basics right time and time again and executes when it matters.

Doesn't seem blessed with blistering pace or strength but his kicking game, link up play and game management are off the charts.

In my view, he ranks with the best of all time.

He is a strong boy.

It was Capewell I think, and it would have been a yellow or red over here 4 weeks ago.

The ref let a lot go that he would have hung drawn and quartered for if he missed in a regular season game. Player welfare seemed to go out of the window. But the game could have been ruined or certainly heavily influenced if a team had ten minutes a man down.

There were sevral instances where players stayed down in a tackle to gain a penalty, and he just played on. The game was much better for it.

Needs at least a Dally M medal, then he will be.

Great players win games when you have your backs to the wall. No Cleary and the Broncos win.

I was fortunate enough to be at the game. First half looked like the broncos were on the wrong end of all calls. Will have to watch back when I get home.

Amazing performance by Cleary to drag them back in it. Broncos made at least 3 errors in the last 20 though to give them possession and position. The 2 drop drop outs were awful, one out on the full and one straight to a defender 15 yards out. Another knock on on half way line.

Not sure I understand the tactic of kicking short on the drop out- get it over their half bust a gut to defend high up and trust your defence.

Felt sorry for Mam who would on any other day have walked the MOM.
