Watkins is really random.
SKD has 7 tries and 4 assists all season…
I predicted it but 5 Leigh players when they finished 5th is crazy.

The media love in on twitter for SKD is weird IMO. He’s a solid player and has had a great career but loads wanted him in and Wardle out! 25 try contributions vs 11, less metres made by SKD, about a third of the tackles (with similar missed tackle amounts) more errors, more penalties given away and on and on. The media is getting a bit silly with its bias towards the underdog story.

As for the whole team, it’s not a million miles off. The Watkins pick is fall of your chair staggering but there always seems to be one.

Still can’t believe he didn’t win Man Of Steel in 2020 and Paul McShane did. Trent Barrett levels of robbery that. He has to win it this year, Lam has been good but hasn’t stood out like French has. Hasn’t done much since the CC final.

Top second rower for metres made, 2nd for tackles and tries scored, an average year for Farrell by his standards is still better than any second rower.

Absolutely correct. He’s that good that an average year by his standards, is better than pretty much every other second rower. A lot of people’s people mention Whitley, yet Faz has made nearly twice the amount of metres he has. He’s made a couple of hundred more tackles than most of the other second rowers in the conversation. He’s scored more try’s than any of them. It all just points to what a freak he is because we’d all say he’s not been on top of his game but he still easily warrants his place. He isn’t competing against himself, he’s competing against his peers.

what do you think of Welsby over Field? Interestingly the Wigan fans who have posted their own team selection on here have all had Welsby over him too.....
