Yes i think soon as they got rid of Clarke, Betts and Botica they where not as good
and the club ended up spending huge amounts on players bonuses and then by 1996 and 1997 ended up in debt e,g, selling Edwards, Tuigamala, Scott Quinell and Offiah you knew the club was going downhill but it took a million pound payment at the end of 1997 or the club might have folded. a050.gif
