Think this is well past a rumour at this point mate, even sky was confirming it last week.

I am not sure how he will perform for you guys to be honest, as he seems like he really doesn't want to be there.

I see French (and Hill/Ellis) has been charged by the disciplinary but thankfully no bans. I thought when he did that tip tackle he may get a charge. As soft as it would've been, they're all over them at the moment. He will need to be careful going forward with it though because he does have that style of lifting players as he tackles them.

That's fair to me - it was a potentially dangerous lift from French but thankfully he let go at the right moment.

It never looked anything more than a slap on the wrist offence but anything is possible regarding the disciplinary at the moment.

Letting go can go against you sometimes too as you're deemed to not be in control.

I'm glad he's got off with it because I expected something especially considering Isa got 2 games for a perfect tackle.

I watched the full game back this morning and agree that French is growing into the role quite nicely. He certainly got his hands on the ball plenty, which is what we want to see, and he really puts himself about defensively. We really need to be starting games with more of a bang, and greater intensity, though.
