Was always a fan of Eddie Hemmings, but have to say i think Stuart Pyke is also a great commentator for our sport. Doesnt try to be an expert, just commentates on what he sees. Not sure if others agree.
Bill Arthur is poor and has been massively over promoted from his old role as a touchline interviewer which was about his level and it may well be that I'm old fashioned but for any plaudits Stuart Pike and Jamie Jones Buchanan might receive for their knowledge and insight, I always think the minimum a TV commentator must be is intelligible and they sound terrible. Alongside 'Baz and Tez', I'm not sure the "optics" look great to potential new viewers at all.
Is this line up really the best Sky / the sport can do?
