I've just completed the Survey on the ruble league website and it poses the question about thoughts on a ten team league. Personally I think the player pool is too diluted to have genuine competitive league. By condensing the player pool the ten teams will be stronger, more balanced, a better competition. Less fixtures, promotes player welfare, promotes a Stronger international team, a more marketable product. Personally I think its win win. It will be brutal for some of the traditional clubs that struggle financially but for the good of the sport its time for the tail to stop wagging the dog. Thoughts ?

I filled in the survey but didn't know what to say about the number of teams. 10 would probably help the quality/intensity of the games but it would be very repetitive and may reduce the player pool / fan base further if 2 more clubs are playing in a renamed Championship.

The sport needs more money - that's the central issue. Everything needs to be targeted towards that goal.

Twelve team SL licensed with no loop fixtures, teams to be reviewed only every five years to allow growth. Sticking with this format for a decade at least.

Sick of the sport changing the format every few years, makes us look amateurish.
