Strange one. I believe he was highly regarded as a leader at the club but I'm not aware of any coaching experience. Could be wrong though.

Hard to know really. We have plenty of examples to show there tends to be little correlation between playing ability and coaching ability.

Must only have been on a "helping out" type of basis. I don't recall him being announced as a coach or assistant. Like I say, I could be wrong though..

I think that’s it. I recall interviews with him where he’s mentioned putting his hand in here and there. It looks like confirmation of his standing in the dressing room at Wigan this. Lam cleary rated that side of his game.

The last I heard with Clubb was last week and it said he was going to be an assistant coach for Ince Rose Bridge (iirc).

Really happy for him that he’s got fixed up in a good job. His time here as a player went on a year or two too long but he seems a really good bloke and he was a good servant for us.

Sort of seems Lam is on a mission.
