Quote: Ruddy Duck "Some were playing in the wrong postions as you put it as result of injuries (some long term) and the more than normal suspensions rate. Like for example, second row forwards Farrell and Isa as a centre pairing, Bibby and Halsall who are centres and Field who is a half back having to play on the wing because of Manfredi and Marshall being injured.'
The only one that could be said as being wrong was Lam not having the confidence to play Hanley at fullback, but was that decision made in consultation with assistant coaches, O'Loughlin, Peet and Winder.
We can only hope that Peet does not have to same level of problems!'"
At Wakefield Marshall was chosen at full back whilst Hanley played on the wing. That was a particularly strange one. But there were many many more.
Wether it was a decision made in consultation with his assistant coaches as you say then its still Lam who was to blame as he was in charge.
