| Quote: NickyKiss "Either side of his ban he’s been excellent and we need that level going forward now. He’s got the weight of the front row on his shoulders really with him being the only experienced option we have/trust and he’s taking that on. We really need to get more experience around him next season. I still think we need one more prop yet but can’t see it happening. I watched Cas yesterday and guys like Massey, Millington, Watts and Griffin are all able to back each other up. Other than Watts I doubt they cost much. We’ll have Mago and Ellis come in but they’re still not hugely experienced.'"
Is Clubb injured or out of favour? Not many games left for him in a Wigan shirt.

| Quote: DannyT "I wonder how much of his formative years as a winger/back play into his character as a front rower. I know he managed to do alright in the Championship but a top Super League player he is not. That mentality to be a dominant aggressive front rower I think is innate and not coached and ends up being what Bullock is i.e. a mobile unit but nothing more.'"
A good call I expect. I watched the experienced Cas guys last night trying to bully lads like Smithies and Partington, having words with them at every opportunity and those lads just keep coming back for more. If a game gets rough for Bullock than he disappears.

Look no further than last year's GF.
Leading up to the game, he'd been playing well enough, but was simply anonymous on the night. We needed so much more from him and, I'm sure he'd agree, he just didn't deliver.
That was his opportunity and he bottled it. If he'd have performed, he could have named his price on a new contract + potentially worked into the reckoning for an England spot.

| Quote: post "Shorrocks was dreadful from dummy half, don't just base playing 9 solely on his ability to pass to 1st reciever alone. When O'Neill came on we looked like we had direction and he upped the tempo but went off soon after which was a shame, was he injured or was it classic Lam?'"
I think playing him there has been one of your biggest issues recently. The Saints game was comical watching him and Roby at the PTB, it was like Shorricks was playing on the moon.

| The lack of trust in O’Neil has been a strange one. Absolutely superb for Widnes by all accounts and excellent for us outside of a few dodgy mins against Wakey. Maybe he’s a victim of Lam limiting his junior forward selection to 5 or 6 junior middles but he’d just have had the 9 shirt for me as soon as Powell was ruled out. If they then felt the need to take another young forwards out the team and put in Clark for example, then do it.

| Ive just watched the full replay and must admit it was probably the best team performance since Lam was in charge only the 2nd time Cas have been nilled in SL history
