Quote: 100% Warrior "Both. Ian Lenaghan introduced it mate.'"
No he didn't
The gang of 4 did
Uncle Mo started it with his "Theyre a lovely little club comment" and it started from there. One little throwaway comment like that and nearly 35 years later we all still at each other.
Jack Robinson joined in but went too far when he tried to sue the Wigan observer to try and fraud money for damages out of them for the non Neil Cowie transfer.
It was a joke phone call that got out of hand, you know "were selling Neil cowie to Leeds and its all off now because of your article so I want 100k off you" type thing.
He was being arcastic but then went through with it and before you know it everyone's in court all lawyered up. U mean, its not like we were drowning in debt etc at that point which ultimately led to the sale of central park etc that made him do it, honest (oops there i go with it now).
Sarcasm gone too far.
You would have thought Robinson would have learnt his lesson after the gene miles, Andy Gregory and John dorahay fiascos.
You know, thinking you can replace players/coaches with cheaper versions and still carry on winning.
Maybe thats where leneghan is going wrong?
Maybe he's listened to Ruddy Duck and thought yeah, let's do it like the gang of 4 did, replace great players with cheaper bargain buys? So maybe this is all Ruddy Ducks fault?
Oops, there i go again, sarcasm, or is it????
