They can apply back to L1 but given the above probably wouldn't get the green light there either.[/quot
Exactly, they had no money and were £1 million in debt and the new owner who despite paying off the debt, has now stated that if they were readmitted, they would have a further estimated debt of £3 million over the next three years.
If they cannot run on a profitable basis in Super League, what chance have they and indeed Ottawa got in Division One where many of the clubs are hardly bigger than many of the clubs in the National Conference.
How the RFL, Leeds and St Helens can vote in favour of them being readmitted to Super League is beyond rational thinking, especially with the world wide situation of the pandemic.

And actually competed fairly well in SL. Any other year they would have stayed up with that amount of points. If you're looking for a team to be SL ready in such a short period, they're the best bet IMO. Not sure how much the squad has turned over but I think a lot of it was down to Danny Ward, who is still there of course. Whoever does come up should be exempt from relegation for a year though IMO due to the short time available to them to prepare a competitive squad.

I disagree, If you look at squads its a shootout between Leigh and Toulouse and they also have the facilities ready also, Londons squad has been decimated
