I think it might be wise to bring in a few fresh faces next week after last nights huge effort - Burgess, Shorrocks, Clark, Smith etc. Though as I'm typing this I guess it depends on what happens with the fixtures - if we find ourselves in a playoff week then it would have to be first choice of course.

Is exactly the point with Singleton. He has lifted the whole place and there isn’t a stat for that. I wouldn’t expect a Saints fan to have seen the online clips of him banging the drum after his debut win or interviews with other players singing his praises but they absolutely love him by the looks of things. The interviews have been gushing in praise and he is clearly see him as a leader already.

Sorry, you misunderstand. I meant the sustained pressure throughout the match of which the Singleton incident was a clear and visual marker. A show of the intent Wigan had brought to the match, if you will.

His interview after the match was so telling, he's just made up to have a chance to play and earn a living through RL after what's happened with Toronto.

Singleton was a player I always looked out for. Years ago Stuart Fielding was coming back from an injury and played in the reserves/academy when you were allowed three overage players. Singleton played in that game as a young about seventeen year old and he went after Fielden from the start, very similar to the way he has done with the "bigger names" in the last three games.
