Quote: Grimmy "We probably need to try to keep to this razzle dazzle style IMO. Chance our hand a bit more and back the skills of Hastings, Farrell, French, Gildart, Burgess and Smith (when he gets a game!). If we try to play safe percentage rugby up the middle then Walmsley & Co are bound to come out on top unless they completely choke. Of course if it's hammering down or we drop balls then it can result in a long day'"
Inclined to agree. My only hesitation is that when we do play razzle dazzle style; if it comes off we look incredible and our confidence just grows and grows (similar to what’s happening tonight) but when it doesn’t our heads drop and we run out of ideas and the opposition just overwhelm us. Salford tonight have been poor and made it easy for us, when we’ve made mistakes generally Salford have gifted possession back to us and we’ve scored. Saints won’t allow that to happen.
As long as we keep our heads up when it inevitably goes wrong, and our forwards do the tough stuff down the middle as Bullock and Singleton have tonight, keeping Walmsley quiet - we stand a chance of our razzle dazzle style working and getting the win.
