Was that not a Waney tactic to keep the middles as fresh as possible? Even guys like FPN only did 20min stints but in the NRL he was 40/50min.

Btw MM played 70mins against Wakey on Saturday, subbed only in the 70th minute.

MM would have played 80 minutes against Wakey but I think was subbed as a precaution as the old red mist had come down

If that’s a valid approach why didn’t we sub Farrell or Bateman etc

Other than next club captain (I personally prefer Faz), I completely agree. I’ve given him stick also, I still do from time to time but I can’t deny what a well rounded player he’s becoming.

Apart from the GRUB aspect of mc Shane's play,how the hell he gets away with what he does every week is ridiculous and powell has the nerve to moan about our foul play,Smithies quite rightly got sin binned and might get a 1-2 game ban but he needs to sort out his own backyard before slagging us off
