They did, was week before that they lost when George assisted all 3 trys.

Jack Wighton, who the Aussies rave about, has made miles more errors than George as well as doing some realm good stuff.
George does that in SL and he gets slated.

I will not trust my obviously fallible memory again without checking first! Sorry about that!

Williams getting slated online for this weeks performance. He won’t be able to get away with his inconsistent super league form in the NRL unfortunately

It does look like the daggers are out for him over their too, jumping on any poor performance and down playing his good ones.
I only watched the second half this morning but the Raiders looked really sloppy, low completion rate and soft turnovers, Williams didn’t really get much field position to play with. They have some tough fixtures coming up and with performances like that they will find themselves dropping down the table fairly quickly.

His performances have been far more consistent minute to minute, half to half and game to game than Jack Wighton.

Jarrod Croker makes 2/3 different decisions and holds onto the ball from William's kick different game.

Wouldn't give Geirge more than a 7 this week, but he certainly wasnt one ofbthebpoorer performers and others (Hodgson again) made more errors and were sloppier.
If any Canberra fans are having a pop (dont read their forums) then I guess theyll breathe equivalent ofnthe armchair experts over here.

Just been in a Canberra forum, literally hundreds of posts on there about the game.

Josh Hodgson getting loads of stick (justified IMO and agree with their generalised assessments which are that he wants a ball of his own and hes stopping early ball for both halves, over complicating the game and making some bad decisions out of dummy half and giving too many penalties/resets).

Yet no criticism of William's at all
And in fact, on a different thread they're praising him highly and although hes one of if not the lowest paid half backs they're praising him saying hes performing well.
