Admittedly I wasn't giving it my full attention as was cooking but from what I saw Wells looked impressive again in a well beaten Toronto team I thought. 9 metres average gain and took his try very well. How good to have all these exciting forward prospects.

Looked ruddy massive. As pointed out above, I believe the other second rower (Nicholson) is really highly thought of as well. Add to those two to the older lads like Pearce-Paul, Shorrocks, Rushton and McDonnell and tag in the first team lads Smithies and Wells and we’re set fair now for a long while.

We (probably) can't keep them all, but all those lads show real promise.

Sad reality unfortunately. There’s some cracking lads we let go who go on to thrive at other clubs, Hampshire being one recent example. I’m sure there’s many more but the tiredness of chasing after a puppy all day is clouding my memory
