Quote: Cruncher "I honestly believe that some folk have a blind spot where George is concerned.
There's no doubt about his talent or his physical prowess, but we've all seen him drift through matches that he could have have injected himself into a lot more.
He could have been so much better for us. I reckon we've seen him hit his straps 1 in every 3/4 games. Compare that to Hastings, who has micro-managed Salford's attack all year, and propelled them right to the top of SL by his own personal example.
I thought GW had all the tools when he first came on the scene. But we've only seen that in flashes.
Whether he'll replicate that in Australia, or quickly learn that it'll mean he gets dropped permanently, remains to be seen.'"
Spot on Cruncher, see you and me have similar mindset. We may not always agree but we speak our minds. Lots of people dont like to hear the truth.
Williams does not have the strength of mind to make it in the NRL. When he is faced with stiff defence and things are not going to plan, he drifts out of the game as he did V Salford when he should of stepped up and took the game by the scruff of the neck and demanded the ball.
