| Quote: Pie_Eyter "I am not getting into hysterics about last night. Yes it was poor and we looked burnt out but overall for a transition season am happy with the way we finished the season. Don't forget, we had the Edwards saga for most of the season and Lam was in limbo for the majority of it. We were beaten by the better side last night and will be a Salford fan come next Saturday. We have some exciting signings to look forward to next season but before they arrive someone needs to make some big decisions at the club because we are carrying far too many passengers. We have players like Flower starting games who wouldn't be even 5th choice at Saints.
J. Burgess - "Wants another crack at the NRL" Yeah i would drop that dream. He will be lucky to end up at West Wales Raiders
Sammut - Poor panic buy who hasn't been terrible when played but not the standard
Hankinson - There was a reason he was playing for Swinton - Another panic buy
Flower - Too small and just not good enough in general
Clubb - Terrible in defence and attack and his fitness is woeful
Lockers - Time to call it a day. Bang average nowadays. Reminds me of a racehorse. Used to be pattern class but now struggles in Class 5 events.
Powell - Improved this season but Lussick is still a Salford player, get a bid in
Navarrette - poor in defence and attack and has handling skills like Tautai
Props next season should be G. Burgess, Clark, Bullock, Partington, Byrne, Havard. The rest need letting go along with the fringe players who have no future here like Woods and Shorrocks'"
Add Escare into that mix, a player with another twelve months left on his contract. Reportedly on a high wage (no wonder he won't leave), needs to be shipped out on loan again to reduce our losses. No point having a player in the reserves on sky high money and not contributing to the first team.

Well i mean the NRL wear helmets and you have to wear an helmet on a motorbike so i am guessing that they do offer some protection from head injuries. I know i would rather clash heads with somebody with an helmet on rather than no helmet.

| Quote: apollosghost "A player in the NFL (think it was a Raiders player) was banned for the year last week for a helmet to helmet tackle and a QB got knocked out cold last night after another helmet to helmet clash.
Who knows, they might look at getting rid of helmets at this rate.'"
Perhaps a redesign of the helmets to have soft padding on the outside to cushion the impact?

So far above my pay grade it's untrue, they were just two awful impacts.
It was the Pittsburgh QB last night, he was out cold before he hit the floor, imagine a boxer catching someone on the sweet spot and that's what it looked like.
The Raiders player last week was lunacy, check the video above, no surprise he's been kicked out for the season (without pay as well).

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

When people say knocked out before they hit the floor, you are knocked out the moment your brain jolts. If someone gets hit and isn’t knocked out before they hit the floor then they’re not knocked out, they’re pretending, probably footballers.

| What side of the field does harry rushton play? Everytime I’ve seen him he’s been a real handful and could be the answer to our right second row problems
