I’ll be gutted if we lose on Friday. I’d much rather get to the GF and lose than not get there at all.

FWIW I don’t think anyone other than Saints will win. So for me - if we beat Salford - I’d be going to the GF expecting not to win. I’ll still have a good day and support Wigan to the high hilt regardless of the score and I honestly believe that though we may be beat, it won’t be a bartering like it was last Friday.

My reasoning for wanting Salford to beat us is that i dont want the horror of a Saints cricket score against us in the history books. I think a Salford win would save us huge embarrassment. Call it a blessing in disguise.
