| I left on 58 minutes, what's the problem? Beat the traffic and got a takeaway on the way home. We was 30 points behind at the time, and im struggling to see what kind of pleasure id have gotten out of the last 22 minutes? Id more than seen enough. If you are going to have a go at anyone, have a go at the season ticket holder that don't even turn up for play off games, not people who DO turn up but leave early.

| Quote: 100% Warrior "Geez mate you’ve outdone yourself here. Has Skerrett even been involved in the game since retirement? Whilst we’re being all nostalgic why not bring Billy Boston down to coach our wingers too? He’s only been retired 49yrs.
Pulling out the WCC is conceding the WCC. And to make such a suggestion is utterly bizarre but not as bizarre as “let Salford have a go” as though the Grand Final is a child’s toy.'"
Yes he has been coaching in amateur Rugby and from all accounts has done a very good job. Your, comparison of Boston is ridiculous.
Pulling out of the WCC is not conceding it. The game would of just been called off. They wouldnt of just crowned Sydney the world champions. Perhaps if we had done as i suggested we would of been better prepared for this season and not lost one of our most important players to a long term injury. Even some of our senior players themselves admitted the WCC game had been a major distraction.

It’s the same as yours, a retired legend coaching the players. See how ridiculous your suggestion is now?
Err pulling out of it is conceding it. We pull out of the final, Sydney are awarded the game ergo they’re WCC’s. It’s pretty simple.

No, Boston is obviously far to old to coach and has been retired from any kind of employment for years. Skerrett is not retired nor is he too old.
Why didnt you compare Skerrett to say Edwards? Both similar age..... Oh hang on a minute...

You've answered your own point. It's not about whether he was a good player in his day. Whether you like it or not, the game has evolved to the point it's almost unrecognisable from the early 00s, never mind the 80s. Guys like Brian Noble and Ian Millward who achieved loads as coaches at top level have been left behind because the game has changed so much. How far behind do you think the game has left Kelvin Skerrett, who played in the 80s and since then has only coached a bit at amateur level, most recently a decade ago?

Mate you’re suggestion is utterly ridiculous. 80’s/90’s/00’s props don’t exist anymore. The game is different, it’s moved on.
If you can’t see that then there’s genuinely no helping you.
