If 2-3000 fans who have S/T or tickets aren’t actually showing up, the club need to be asking them why. This whole “it’s the number of tickets sold” smokescreen won’t wash.
What’ll happen next season when those people don’t bother to buy a ticket in the first place and crowds drop thousands more. The club should be extremely concerned by this trend. Others will be watching thinking - crowd looks awful, don’t fancy that again. Just like when crowds are rising it encourages floating fans to jump on the bandwagon to be involved. It’s happening in reverse.
It’s been mentioned on other threads but the marketing of individual games is beyond pitiful. You get a quickly knocked up poster that is shared on the club’s social media channels and that’s it. They don’t even make sense, Burgess doing a hush gesture for a game against London, WTF! It’s like they don’t want big crowds.
What happened to The Big One? Family promotions? Heinz cheap tickets? Heritage day, etc.
FFS on Thursday they GAVE AWAY 100 tickets because it was Gildart’s 100th game the week before

If that’s the best they can come up with they need to GTFO of our club.
