Quote: Bigredwarrior "I don’t subscribe to the ‘vote with your feet’ mentality at all. If attendances keep dropping it’s hardly going to motivate the chairman to splash out more than he has to is it? I still think he’s a Wigan fan as well as a businessman and he wants the best for the club. I still trust him to run the club well and I have enough faith in him and the current squad to turn this season around. If players see crowds dwindling week on week it’s not going to improve their confidence. We talk about supporting the club through thick and thin and it seems some of our fans will only support a winning team. I find it quite sad at times.'"
Disagree. Actions always speak louder than words. People can whine and moan all day and as long as they keep turning their cash over to the club IL etc will be happy. Making a statement is way more effective. Plus, why should fans be expected to pay their hard earned cash on dross? They shouldn't. Sport is a form of entertainment, escapism for some, if they want our money, then they should earn it.
