Having said that our family haven't bought tickets yet and will definitely be there. Maybe it will come together closer to the day - I think a sellout is unrealistic but hopefully over 20k.'"
A bit of perspective though
Any attendance of 20k plus would be a very positive attendance
Leeds last 3 efforts at Headingley have been 21/20/19k and Saints was under 18k in 2015
It's a bit like the current perception that our league attendance over last 2 years is poor however comparing it to the Glory years of SL 1996-2004 when the attendances were 10k/9k/10k/9k/10k/11k/10k/10k/12k it stacks up very well considering we also had large Bradford/Leeds/Saints travelling numbers back then and loop fixtures with often 2 Bradford/Saints games at home to boost attendances.
Yes there are issues and questions do need to be asked but looking at equivalent clubs (Wire Saints for example) I think we still stack up pretty well and with Good Friday at home this year it will have a positive affect (Although Saints get 2 home games against us this year).
It's always worth remembering if we got 18k Saints would class it as a "Sell out" and portray it as Positive
If we got 15k Wire would do the same
So would that mean if we sold 25k but played in a 30k stadium it would be disappointing?
A little bit of positivity can go a long way
