Impressive that IL has managed to capture Edwards. Surely he could have commanded a lot more money in RU. Maybe he genuinely wants the challenge!

Edwards now has the opportunity to be the first person in history to win the league/major trophy in both League and Union as a head coach. Major opportunity for our Shaun to make history again.

It's a major major incentive and one which I reckon would eclipse any salary. That incentive will surely transfer down to the players as well, the chance to work with not just Lam but also Shaun Edwards would be a major draw.

I hope J & S Tomkins are looking back with regret.

Very interesting press conference. Edwards was brilliant. "And how much do you earn luv" was his reply when asked if he was taking a wage cut to come back to Rugby League.

Worth watching just for that. Both showed that they are ‘up for this’.
