If what some have said is true and this is from a few weeks ago before SW’s departure it makes the whole situation very intriguing. If by club also knew and tried to cover it up by way of paying the victims off, as had been rumoured, then the club is an utter disgrace and if I were ZH I’d be seriously reconsidering signing. If that were him without a shadow of a doubt he would never wear the cherry and white jersey.

It happened about five weeks ago, pre Sam to Catalan and Wanes resignation.

Why would ZH do that? He's hardly been the model professional in the past. If the club don't act surely ZH behaving likewise would not cause anyone at the club to bat an eyelid and he'd have every confidence if he were to be a similar bell end the club would cover it up. I am not sure such a lax attitude to off field discipline by the club would put him off. I think the more important issue re ZH is if the club want to keep ZH on the straight and narrow they need to act on this video.

It’s ok, just being an ‘idiot’ whitewashes abusing people in their workplace. I suppose you are tolerant of drunken idiots in A and E towards nurses, perhaps abusive parents at their kids parents evening or maybe even lobbing bricks at paramedics? Both players won’t lose their livelihoods, just some short term income or ability to play for a period.

Yeah right, top athletes (in any sport) get filmed behaving like bell ends and it never makes the press and their employers never take action over such incidents. On the planet Zorg maybe where you live but on planet Earth what might pass off as loutish behaviour for those out of the public eye tends to have a different outcome, be it lamping a student, driving a golf buggy up toward the M4 (remember Andy Powell?) or whatever. Just the way it is.

Its called code of conduct, probably in their contracts under "Do not be a utter moron while out and about as it may bring bad light on the club"
