Still a "bit" to go to get back to his best IMO but certainly he's much improved.
What I will say though is bear in mind the rib injury he had that he as out for 4/5 months with.
It was a real nasty one and imo may have contributed somewhat to his dip in form or any kind of statistical analysis of performance. |

With Tautai being off form, he's got a great opportunity to take his spot, but I've not really seen him do much to justify that. |

When he’s on the field I’ve been impressed but he still doesn’t look fit enough to do any spells of longer then 10-15 mins. He looks ‘fitter’ but still not as fit as he needs to be which is a worry. His impact whilst on has been good with a good average carry and his work in defence looks good (and aggressive) but he needs to keep working hard.
The less said about Tautai’s ‘form’ the better. He’s hardly had a good spell in the last 12 months after the ink dried on his new deal and even a spell out of the team didn’t look to shake him in to action at Leeds. He made 25m from 5 carries in the game and when you have a lad like him who isn’t a workhorse in defence, it’s tough to defend his displays. |
