A good competitive pre-season game, at last, between these two teams. Team spirit looked good for Wigan, by the way they celebrated their scores. As for the result, which probably doesn't mean a lot, the better team won, by just abut the right margin.

Can’t read too much into pre season friendlies granted and Leigh were a half decent SL side last season don’t forget but I still feel we should have won by a lot more.

As per Crunchers comment, this team still has a lot to do to make up for last season. I’m not at all confident in the squad.

4 out of Hamlin, Tautai, Flower, Clubb, Sutton, FPN, Naverette, Field standards should pick up with the competition for places.

Quite hard to come up with any observation on the game with the conditions. Felt the intensity wasn't there from both teams and most certainly felt like a friendly. You looked much better when you moved Sam into the halves and that will most definitely improve when the better weather comes. Good luck for the season.
