| Would you risk Marshall after his mare at the weekend? The young lad looked mentally shot to bits. Throwing him into an away Saints derby with our season on the line doesn't exactly sound like a great way to help him get his confidence back. If he has another poor game it could really ruin him. Smith would be sure to put every kick his way, and the hostile Saints crowd would be on his back.
I'd be tempted to shift Gelling to the wing and Bateman to centre. Not ideal, but would at least ensure we are defensively sound on that side, even if the attack would need to be focused on the left (which is full of talent anyway with Williams, Farrell, Gildart and Burgess). Take Marshall out of the firing line, let him run riot in the reserves, then bring him back against easier opposition in a less important game.

I was really looking forward to the U19s on Sunday but I cant make it now due to health reasons. Hope its on Wigan TV live.
With regards to Saints for me all the pressure is on them. They have had 2 weeks to get ready for this and have their much heralded marque player making his debut whilst we have had a very demanding game and loss at Wembley which potentially could have a major impact on moral.
As much as Ive been critical of performances and style I still want to beat Saints every time irrespective of importance of the actual match.

| There were loads of tickets behind the counter when I went down yesterday. Didn't look like many had been sold in the stands.

Feel sorry for him. Let's not forget that thirty minutes before kick off he was 19th man. It must have been difficult for him to mentally prepare himself from the disappointment of not being picked in the biggest game of his life so far.....to being thrust into it last minute.

No trains from Wigan after 6 p.m tonight and none back from St. Helens after the match won't have helped.
