Against a Salford squad with 9 first team players out? Surely not. We have no depth, not even an academy to back us up! We actually have 3 hookers in our 19 too, so wouldn't be surprised if one of our hookers or halves faces a late fitness test.

Full strength Salford would probably win this easily, but with nine out ourselves it's anyone's game.

I panic when Joel gets the ball as it is because of the amount of times it seems to go to ground/touch/the opposition. I'd be very concerned if be was moved to the position where you touch the ball more than anyone. I agree we can't ask Ganson to play 80 at hooker but surely this isn't a wise move.

Tierney at FB worries me a lot more than Joel at hooker!

He's excellent at Academy level, but it's a big step up to the first team, especially when the team is already severely lacking in experience.

It wouldn't be my choice but apparently it's the plan according to the WEP.

I'd probably just jet Ganson and Woods share it.

I do hope the coaching staff are agreed on who should play where as us lot can't agree on almost anything between us.

Woods is an excellent kicker.

He is, and a goalkicker too. I'd go with Powell and Gregson in the halves and Ganson at hooker, with Woods on the bench to allow Powell to relieve Ganson. We already know Powell can play both positions, and can do the full 80.
