We had more injuries then anyone last year and battled to 5th. This year we are doing okay for injuries, though we lost our form stand off after 1t minutes today.... let's get it right though, we were spanking you today before williams and Co got injured. And you had a stronger side out today then what you had at the DW 3 weeks ago.

Injuries were no excuse today. We were way off the pace from the first whistle and one or two players should feel a little embarrassed tonight. I sincerely hope Gelling has a decent injury because the way he gave up abs stepped off the field in the process of Cas scoring their second try was pretty weak. His head hasn't looked right all year

We are SL Champions so to lose by a 50 point margin is unacceptable. With that team out we might not have won the game but should have been competitive so to get thrashed is not good enough. Wane needs to earn his money now and get the forwards going because they are not.

Sh*t performance from Wigan, good performance from Cas. We had lots of injuries blah blah blah, not really that fussed to be honest. Wire beat us twice in the regular season last year just as Cas have this year and we all know how last season ended up. It might not end up being the same finish, but its something worth remembering so Cas fans, enjoy your win and enjoy you're brilliant performances, but don't forget lads, we are only in April.

It's easy to say, we'll be there at the business end of the season, Cas may fade away, you don't win owt in April, etc etc...
All that may be true, but I don't take much consolation from that. Cas were very good, but they were massively helped by that lame effort. Some of their tries were embarrassingly soft. And when we did get possession close to their line, as we did a fair bit in the first half, they handled our predictable attacking efforts with ease.

I didn't expect a win against a strong Cas side, but I did expect a determined and competitive effort, and that certainly wasn't it.
