Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013
Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg |

| In the vain hope that this doesn't degenerate into pointless argument and trolling, I want to say I hope he can get over this, and recover.
That was a sickening incident, which could have disastrous results.

And cue outrage....'"
Not really, he plays for Leeds and him and the clubs priority will be to look after themselves.
It could've been 8 games and he still wouldn't miss as many as Gildart and a ban for him won't benefit us in any way so I'm not overly fussed. I'd like to know why it wasn't a red card on the night more to the point. It was obviously seen by the officials and I'd have thought he'd have walked.

| Nearly 3 years to the day that he tried to break Jonny Lomax' neckhttps://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/huddersfield-giants/i-did-not-mean-to-do-spear-tackle-ferres-1-6552026rl
5 game ban for that also, and does anyone want to guess what he did? Ah yes, he tweeted another empty apologyhttps://pbs.twimg.com/media/BkxR0BsIIAA23zh.jpg" >
This guy is just scum, pure and simple.

| I read an article by Phil Clarke yesterday on Sky Sports, he said he didn't think there was any intent by Ferres because he couldn't believe that any player would want to intentionally hurt another, and I somewhat agreed with him, until I watched the tackle again.
The fact that Gildart was almost flat on his back and tackled, and Ferris then decides to pick him up again, shows there was clear intent. Couple this with the fact that it was straight after the little scuffle between Isa and Golding and it's obvious he was fired up and wanted to rough up a lad half his size. Indefensible.

You think Wigan did that re Flower? In sport because it isn't a court case there comes a time when you have to admit guilt (or should) and if you don't you get a bigger penalty. Which is why Ferres should have got the full 8. It is not as if he doesn't have previous form for dirty play.

We hung Flower out to dry over that incident.
