Can't slate other teams supporters when we can't generate any atmosphere ourselves.

Wigan away from home (especially against Wire & Saints) generate tremendous atmospheres. Good Friday this year was top notch. Headingley is crap due to the open terracing.

That's always been the case, largely because the regular away supporters tend to be more vocal and passionate anyway, plus they can group together instead of being scattered around three stands at home.

Which is why I compared against Saints visit on Friday. Consolidated together in one stand and a half d dragging out of "the hymn" every ten minutes.

I'd say there are 3 games out of the 11 away games per season. Wire, Saints like you mentioned but Catalans has been the best this year. For the rest of the year i'd say its far from tremendous mate. Good Friday is generally a given for a good atmosphere. Understand and take your point on open terracing but i feel there are a number of other factors as to why we struggle to generate atmosphere. Partly the clubs fault and ourselves as supporters.

I think our travelling support has dwindled over the last couple of years, went to Cas last week and was shocked with just how few we took. Missed the Catalans game unfortunately.

It's a far cry from the 80's/90's when 2nd division chairmen would pray for a visit from Wigan in an early round of the cups giving them a bumper pay day.

Yep, definitely decreased over the last few years. I think theres a serious lack of interest in the club at the minute.
