I thought the ruling on Charnley was a little harsh and I thought the commentators on Friday night over reacted, he only pulled the ref's hand out of the way to question his decision, you could see straight away that he regretted doing it, but I suppose the RFL want to ensure that we don't end up in a situation like football where all the players are giving the ref grief over every decision. What's with the £300 fines?? It just seems like whatever offence is brought before the disciplinary panel gets a £300 fine regardless of its gravity.

As a Wigan fan I'm glad his ban has been reduced, as a RL fan I'm not. It was a poor tackle and deserved more than one game.
