I really don't understand, surely the club don't think it should be downgraded? He loses the EGP anyway and is now running the risk of missing the CCSF. Shocking move really, especially when we are so down on backrowers at the minute!

We've lost the plot on that one IMO. If he gets the three games now then the club really do deserve a kicking.

As much as I don't believe he went to hurt the lad, he should have felt pretty lucky at getting just two games.

I can only assume they want it downgrading to Grade B (careless), they can then use his previous good record and the sending-off to hope for just a 1-match ban. The disciplinary have been known to use Grade B when a player is "stepped and reaching", as they put it, which is what happened.

It's a gamble, but it could pay off.

I'm sure when Mr Wane puts across his reasons as eloquently has he does whenever he speaks your player will be okay

I said the other day it should be a 2 game reduced to 1. A 3 game ban would be ridiculous and 2 is quite harsh based on previous offences by other players.
