Winning isnt everything but having the will to win is: |
|
| Quote: hatty "Garbage now toddle off and enjoy your win'"
I dont often agree with a wire fan but he/she is totally correct,it was disgraceful, something you would see at an amateur game
Farrell has totally changed his attitude since wane became coach
He's gone more aggressive but very very niggly, shame really as it doesn't do him justice as he's a very good player

Or you could try breaking his ankles again and make doubly sure.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| I'm always happier when the Leeds and Warrington games are gone, and the levels of ingrained bitterness and knuckle dragging subsides...

| Quote: Wigan Peer "Watch games in general, It happens all the time.
No it doesn't, he clearly slid in knees first and very late. Compare with what Gelling did the other week against Widnes that was sent to video ref to consider an eight point try. The Gelling incident is the type you see every week whilst what Farrell did was a cheap shot that I'd imagine will lead to a Tuesday evening in Leeds for Farrell this week.

As i have said all along, if you would care to read, i hate cheap shots.... If he is punished, i for one will not complain... I'll leave the bleating and whining to others...

| It wasn't a great showing from Wigan, but an entirely predictable one considering our injuries and our attacking displays this season. If Warrington had kept Sandow on the field it may have been less respectable. He showed more attacking intent than we have in most games this season in his cameo, and what a great set up for Kevin Penny.
I appreciate Wigan should improve when we get some of our first teamers back but I do worry about our ability to win silverware this season. It may be early day's and we have done well to grind out wins, but our attack is very basic and there doesn't seem to be any plan B if we can't find the overlaps out wide. I think everybody expects us to improve speed dramatically when Williams and Tomkins return. I hope we do, but who knows what Sam will be like when he returns from a lengthy injury.
Perhaps I'm being overly pessimistic but I just don't like our attack at all. If it doesn't work first time we just continue until it does - or, as we have seen, we throw a loose ball and it becomes a bit scratchy but we might find a hole because of that. A few times Gelling has thrown a basketball pass that has paid off but it doesn't say much for our organization. Yesterday, we had no second receiver who could do anything with the ball and the end of some of our sets were a shambles. We will improve, but so will Warrington, and honestly with the demise of Leeds, Huddersfield and the poor form at Saints they should walk it.
Either way, it should be interesting.
