Quote: Bostonslugholes "Well Id say he does the basics very well he takes the ball in hard achieves a quick play the ball more often than not, misses very few tackles and always seems to be helping the other forwards as the third man in when they are struggling with the wrestle. Ive seen the occasional decent offload to pop the backs through a gap so with further progress as he still has many years playing on his side he could be another Sean O'loughlin in 5 or 6 years time. Lets not forget Lockers was also just very good at doing the basics as a young gun and now he's the best forward in England. Players need time to mature their game sometimes and this can only come with game time where then confidence can thrive. Id say he's very lucky to have such a role model to learn his trade from there's probably no better forward to help progress his career with.
I think you should have started the post with the name or names of certain other front rowers as there's definitely far worse and less hard working forwards than Burke at this club.'"
Good response to a pointless thread. The Matty Smith thread kicked off because he's a senior player and had a terrible game against Widnes. If you're going to apply the same mentality to the whole squad, regardless of experience, game time or anything else, you might as well start another 16 simultaneous threads with "is ______ good enough for Wigan?"
That's not a serious suggestion by the way....
