With about ten minutes left Peacock was completely spent, at one point I thought he was going to collapse/throw up. I dont know how he carried on. That's got to have had an effect on him.
Still too many big name players big finals experience to call it for me.
Wigan need to start like a house on fire (as we did against Saints in 2010. Oh and try not to get a player sent off early on again would help!

| They lost Delaney last night and Stevie Ward is done for months.
Saying that they still have some depth because even though they've got a superstar backline and two club legends they can carry depth because the majority play for 'the love of the club' and not big wages.

At least Sam Tomkins had the guts to go and give it a shot.
Hall, Watkins, Briscoe and even the older guard like Sinfield and Peacock I'm sure have had the chance to go and prove their worth against the best but either they're in a comfort zone and fear failure or they're being paid very very handsomely. I respect them all as players and characters so I think I know which it is.
How are Leeds keeping Hardaker, Briscoe, Watkins, Moon, Hall, McGuire, Sinfield, Peacock, Burrow, Cuthbertson and Leuluai under a 1.8m salary cap? That's 11 players that I imagine command close to that on their own and you also have another 14 players in your squad to pay.
Can you work it out? Me neither.

And is Leeds the only club you cannot work out?
One thing you can say for Leeds is we haven't had an overseas half back that command a big salary. Burns and Walsh at Saints, Sandow at Wire - Mega bucks. That is what maybe sets us apart.
Leeds finally get a quality 9, something we've lacked for years, then Catalans ( Yes, ahem Justin Carney, plus many other quality Aussie imports that won't be playing for peanuts) come knocking offering 3x as much as what he is on at Leeds
Aiton himself has openly admitted that it's a money move. That puts your theory of dodgy shinanigans to bed. Unlike a previous Wigan regime of course...pretty rich.

That's one of the dafter posts I've ever read on rlfans.
Kylie will never have been on a particularly high wage. Cuthbo also only came in as a decent, not star, NRL signing
McGuire, Sinfield, Peacock and Burrow all peaked a few years back and over the last few years have traded a higher salary for longer deals
At the same time Hardaker, Briscoe, Watkins, Moon, Hall, etc will have seen their salaries climb in the opposite direction.
That's just basic cap management.
