| Finally confirmed:
Huddersfield (Home) Thursday 6th August @ 20:00
Leeds (away) Friday 14th August @ 20:00
Warrington (away) Friday 21st August @ 20:00
Catalans (home) Saturday 5th September @ 15:00
Hull FC (home) Friday 11th September @ 20:00
Saints (away) Friday 18th September @ 20:00
Castleford (home) Friday 25th September @ 20:00
Gutted to miss the first 2, but that's what holidays do to you.
At least they're both on the box, so I guess a few mojitos around a pool-side screen might be in order.

| Thursday is a proper pig & I'm still not impressed with this London experiment. Are they going to ferry us down for free then?

Yes, they've already confirmed that it will be free travel.

| I don't think we can complain too much tbh. One Thursday game at home with none away is much better than it could've been. The London experiment is annoying but we have known about it for some time. If it works and there's a half decent crowd then the club have got it right. Personally, I think growing the home attendances that have been on the slide for the last 4 seasons is a more pressing matter than attracting corporate partners in London, but IL obviously thinks differently.

| Is there any point to season tickets now?
Thats two home games we're gonna miss (2 adults, 2 kids).
Hudds game - on holiday, stuck with kids 6 weeks holiday period - took a gamble lost.
Catalans game - in London on a Saturday. Due to having my own business means I'm working during the day? In the evening I could have made the game.
So that's two games missed for a family of four.
Value - £70-80?
Brill.

But the club only ever accounted for 14 home games when they priced the season ticket, with the 15th being a bonus if we reached the top 4. There are plenty of reasons why this London game isn't a good idea, but to suggest it's ripping off season ticket holders is way wide of the mark IMO, especially as the ticket for the game is included and they are putting on free travel for ST holders.

surely even for 12/13 home game sthe price you have paid for your season tickets greatly trumps what it would have cost per single game paying at the gate for a family of four, so that there is the point of a season ticket. I'm not a current holder but have been for a number of years in the past and there is always the gamble of losing one game due to holidays or last minute emergencies but even taking them into account, I always made a saving on pay at the gate prices. heck I used to offer my ticket to a friend or family member from the good ness of my heart for any I couldn't make.
you are technically really only missing one game, the Catalans fixture now being played in London, as you have planned a holiday which is causing you to miss the other match so it is not the clubs fault!
I think the concept is pretty stupid as a fan but its not just about us, the club needs sponsors as does the game need coverage, so all in all and considering the club is offering free tickets and travel for ST holders you can't really complain.
ultimately not everyone is going to be able to make this London fixture and the club cannot satisfy every single fan all of the time - unfortunately!

There is a note saying " the free travel is subject to limitations " yet to be explained, I understand about the cost it is the 2 points and giving away home advantage that I object to, I wonder how the players really feel having worked all season to get home advantage for the extra game ( 4 ) and see it thrown away.

Catalans are in 8th place and in the UK they have only managed a win (Wakefield) and a draw (Huddersfield) from 13 games, including a 34-0 hammering from us. I'd also bet that they will be mathematically out of reach of the top 4 by the time we play them. Not saying it's in the bag but it's not something I'm more worried about pointwise than usual.
As for how the players feel, I'm fairly sure if you were to ask them "Why have you worked all season to make the top 4?" they would say "To make the play offs." which is the real benefit.
