No doubt he can still kick a goal. But this isn't subbuteo or the NFL.

I've seen most of Wests games this season, and he looks to have gone OK to me.

Just seen on BBC sport that Dureau has announced he is going back to Australia at the end of the season so that would explain their need for a good quality kicker. Sad to see Pat playing for a competitor but good luck to him over there. He was a great servant to wigan over the years and always fully committed to us, I certainly don't begrudge him a final hurrah wherever that may be.

I agree. He's such a clever player. Always contributes something to the team. Never panics. Still carries the ball out of defence as solidly as ever.

He never had blistering pace anyway, so getting older hasn't really hindered him. And he finishes as well as ever. A good signing for the Dragons IMO.

It looks like Dureau is off back to the NRL.
