| I know it didn't make much difference to the game but from having seen it at the match on Friday and on WiganTV should Crosby's try have been an 8 pointer?? He gets taken high around the neck in the act of scoring the try by Dixon. The commentators never mention it but it looks dangerous to me.

| HKR were/are asking for trouble with Dixon at fullback. He's truly awful defensively and after that head shot he just seemed to pull out of any others he had a shot at making.

| I thought the same thing at the time and I think the ref contemplated awarding it,the commentators spotted the hesitation from the ref and immediately questioned the grounding rather than the tackle.

| If that head high tackle had been in the middle of the field then it would have been a penalty.
Bentham, nor any ref, would give a pen after Wigan score a try.
Not sure they'd do it against any other club either.
The refs are simply not that good.

| Last time I saw one given was in the infamous Jammer Graham bulldogs vs Rabbitohs match at the end of the 1st half. That was the first incident where he spat his dummy out defending two of his team mates who simultaneously assaulted a Issac Luke who was trying to ground the ball. It made the Lance Hohia incident look like a toy wrestle, I think it was 6'5 Kasiano who stuck his knee in the back of his head (debatable if it was intentional) at the same time as Morris who took a full swinging kick into his face. Jammer lost the plot saying it was being played at 200mph and they were both accidental. Amazingly Luke actually grounded the ball. But that was an exceptional circumstance they are rarely given.
Just as a side note Issac Luke played in the test match on Sunday and his head injuries looked far worse than Hohias's --to the untrained eye.
