Interesting read.
Some folk - mainly those who hate Wigan Warriors, but some genuine fans too - have said last Thursday night's announcement was cheesey. But personally I thought it made a great night even more enjoyable. This article suggests the benefits might go even farther.

I read a couple of comments on another forum about how sad it was but it's all part of the fear and annoyance at him coming back.
The negative comments towards Tomkins and to the announcement should be music to the ears of Wiganers. We know how good he is and what he will bring and his arrival will only harm the opposition.
