I think he will do very well in the NRL. The other backs that have gone over and been complete flops; Mathers, Tansey, Thorman and others I'm surely missing, aren't cut from the same mould as budgie. He has all the qualities of a solid NRL winger. He's tall, quick, agile and a good ball runner. Time will tell but I really think he'll do well. I'd love him to come back to Wigan at 27 as the best winger in the world.

I actually don't think Burgess is very agile.

Watch Manfredi or Charnley run with the ball then watch him.

He's faster than both in a straight line, but I'd back those two to step a man before I'd back him to. He's a straight line athlete.

He's got the swerve and change of pace that the other two don't have, he can use the touchline like wingers used to. It's great to see and it's what I will miss most when he's gone.
