Not a Wigan fan so see this from a neutral point but anyone with half an inclin about rugby league who watches NRL can see how much the warriors are missing him and need him in their side
He's been far from flawless, but few positions are under the microscope as much as full-back. And certainly the Warriors are missing him, badly. Especially as Shaun Johnson seems rather off his game (and Townsend isn't up to much anyway).
As noted before, Sam's record in tries scored and assists bears comparison with anyone in the NRL.
