Its early days yet but like others have said the quality of players in superleague is a concern for me as is the quality of rugby being played.. the game against hull on friday was shocking!
As to latics getting bigger crowds than us thats because they get more away fans coming to the stadium than we do

The quality of the coaching is the biggest single problem imo. As average as the current crop of players may be, I'm sure better coaches would get more out of them in the way that Madge did in his first season. |

Buses round Wigan are crap since Stagecoach (Sapphire are part of Stagecoach group) took over. Many services after 7pm handed over to smaller companies so you cant use return tickets and the weekend night buses withdrawn totally. Never thought I'd say this, but please comeback First!!! |

well, no more Sport England funding then. No further excuse not to resurrect the GB team. And will someone please wake up the people who are supposed to run this fekin sport & get their fingers out of each others' (failing to put this politely) ar**holes. Because that's the only reason left for their continued collective failure.

We have lost more quality players than we have unearthed and that for me will always the be the issue with Wigan's reduction in crowds.
My own view is the ordinary fan isn't remotely bothered about how the club is run or how much cash it has, he/she work all week to buy there tickets and be entertained if you keep letting quality players go for inferior players you will get inferior crowds

We can't structure junior rugby so what chance do we have at professional level. The shambolic way they have tried to change under sevens in the past six months shows how poorly the game is run and managed from amateur to professional. |

The pattern continues... 10,787 - our lowest home SL attendance against Wakefield since 2005 and our 2nd lowest home SL attendance in the Maguire/Wane era. Looking forward to a big crowd next week!
