Kieron Cunningham received no ban whatsoever when he forearmed a player in the face whilst on the floor, and fractured said player's eye-socket (Stosic of Wakefield). No ban, no threat of police, for what was a far worse incident. It is just a shame that Flower didn't keep his composure, because he's NOT a dirty player, far from it; but had he done so it should have been St Helens down to 12 men for the match, and I suspect they would have lost by more than 40 points.

That is outrageous! What ban did he get? Absolutely horrendous.

No world wide coverage and full back page spread...no agenda from the papers, honest.

This has been my point all through this Ben Flower saga. The ridiculous comments from people (most of whom should know better!) has bordered on the hysterical. As that clip quite clearly shows this was nowhere near 'the worst thing ever' comments that people were dragged into making. Only the media gang bang that went on differentiated this incident from hundreds, if not thousands, of others that have occurred in sporting arenas the world over. I hope people take a look at that clip, as well as the many others that have surfaced over the last week or so, and start to get some perspective. Somehow, I doubt it though.
