Quote: Northampton_Saint "Hohaia retaliated... Flower started it all by smacking him in the back of the head when he'd turned his back on him to watch the kick. It was Hohaia who was acting under the effects of the red mist... But let's not let facts get in the way of a good excuse for a defeat, eh?
Nice grammar by the way. Your teachers must be very proud.'"
Correction the tone of the match was set by that 9 minute fatman shoulder charging a Wigan player in the first tackle. Hohaia then does what he does best - niggling play - hence the attempted obstruction on Flower.
An attempted jaw breaker was always going to result in a runners up medal for Lance. Flowers mistake was the second punch - job done with the first punch !
Maybe Lance needs to learn a lesson from this episode - don't start what you can't finish.
Congrats by the way on the win ... wonder what the result had been if Bentham had made the correct call and red carded Hohaia for his (admittedly poor) attempt at a jaw breaker? It would then have been 12 v 12 (hence the charge against Hohaia) if Hohai's head assault had been punished - as you say though don't let the facts get in the way of a correct argument.
If you are having problems reading other people comments, maybe you could get dad to help you with the longer words?
