It's no suprise If true. Player welfare should come first and IMO an injury like that is too big a risk.

Been confirmed now,massive loss but saints have some big players out aswell so we can't use this as an excuse.

I would imagine Wigan have known all week that he wasn't playing and have been preparing for that. It's time for Powell to 'man up' and have the game if his life.

On a side not I'm not sure I'd have picked Williams having not played for so long.
