I logged onto the e-ticketing site dead on 11am and I got my two tickets with no problem thankfully.

Didnt get back from the game until 12 noon today . 2.5 hours on the Wigan site with no luck . Got two good tickets from the RFL .

The tickets I'd bought through the RFL last night? Well, they cancelled them as I'd emailed them enquiring whether if I was able to get better seats through my season ticket, would I be able to cancel the tickets I'd purchased with them and get a refund. I then thought, I'm best off ringing them as I'll be waiting all day for somebody to reply. When I rang, I was told that after purchasing, you are unable to cancel or get a refund, so told them to leave it as it is because I couldn't get tickets anyway as the Wigan ticket office was playing up. 2 hours later, I got an email saying that they had cancelled my tickets as a goodwill gesture!!! I was at the U19's GF, had to leave at HT as I still couldn't get tickets online, and thought I'd be best off just heading off to the ticket office! Not a happy bunny.

The eticketing is working now. You'll be able to get them overnight as a ST holder before they go on general sale.

Sunday morning e-ticketing showed up as general sale. Was supposed to be season ticket holders etc. until 12.
This after the Saturday fiasco.
For us, result is we have had to settle for worse tickets, right in the corner, since we could 'only' spend 2 hours trying on Saturday 11 till 1. By evening, all the best tickets had gone.
What's the point of having a season ticket, our five are asking?
Rubbish performance by the club and/or Ticketmaster. And the cheek to add £2 booking fee as well.

It's not the club but Ticketmaster that's at fault. They're serial offenders with this sort of "mad rush" event & their machines simply don't cope. Also (I've never rung them, but...) it seems their customer service is (way) offshore, so you'll never get rapid or satisfactory response. Personally I'd bring ticketing fully in house & then the club would be able to respond faster to issues & properly plan for temporary up scaling as required.

Wigan only have 1500 left. The RFL have opened the top tier of the north stand now as well due to demand.

It's looking like a great crowd which surprises me considering crowds seem to be down across the board.

I think fans have been tip toeing through the season like some of the teams.

The fans are still there, its just needs the right games to catch the imagination.

Im hoping next season will help get the regular season crowds up, i for one am very likely to get season tickets again next season after picking and choosing this time round.

I need to try and get my tickets tomorrow morning. Do you think my best chance would be to ring up at 9am (as I can't get down to the stadium)?
